01. Our Story 

IPCollective, LLC is the brainchild of co-founders Dr. Emilie Hofacker and Dane Browner who saw a need to bridge gaps that arise in both personal and professional development. Friends with extensive expertise in leadership, communication, and diversity the two quickly saw an opportunity to take their knowledge to help others grow. While one comes from a wealth of experience in Higher Education the other brings a strong background in navigating Corporate America.  

 

The purpose of IPCollective is centered around intentionally pursuing growth. IPCollective envisions a world where individuals and organizations, regardless of their role, experience transformative growth and success through collaborative thought leadership and expertise.

Dr. Emilie Hofacker is a driving force in organizational excellence, steering initiatives that empower teams and foster growth. She has 17+ years in higher education leadership serving as a practitioner, researcher, and educator. Emilie has directed numerous programs across diverse units and divisions, showcasing a unique blend of strategic vision and operational prowess. Her leadership has consistently elevated teams, ensuring ongoing development and impactful outcomes.

 

Emilie is an innovator at the intersection of education and empowerment. Her commitment to programming, curriculum development, and professional growth has been transformative. As a leader in student success programs and STEM initiatives, she has pioneered impactful programs within the University of Wisconsin - Madison, the Posse Foundation, and the Office of STEM Initiatives, leaving an indelible mark on 1000’s of students. Emilie's data-driven approach guarantees not just success but lasting impact.

 

A champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Emilie has actively served on committees and contributed to meaningful programming, policy, and professional development, supporting and enhancing inclusive spaces. As co-founder and CEO of IPCollective, LLC, she brings her wealth of experience to empower teams through strategic coaching and consulting. Her dedication to fostering collaborative thought leadership aligns seamlessly with IPCollective's vision for organizational empowerment.

 

An active alumna of the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Emilie holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, along with master's degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. Her commitment extends beyond her academic achievements, actively engaging with her alma mater. Emilie's contributions have not gone unnoticed. With over 45 awards for leadership, service, and support, including the 2020 Award for Excellence in Higher Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, she stands as a beacon of excellence in the Higher Education landscape.

 

At IPCollective, Emilie is instrumental in living the company's mission to empower individuals and organizations. With a focus on inclusivity, collaborative excellence, empowerment, and impactful innovation, she leverages her extensive experience to bridge gaps, foster inclusive environments, and create opportunities for growth and skill building.            Dane Browner, President & Senior Facilitator

Dane Browner stands at the forefront of diversity and inclusion leadership, currently shaping recruiting pipelines and partnerships in his role at a prominent tech company. With over 15 years of experience, Dane's career spans impactful roles at eBay, Indeed, Visa, and Google, where he has played a pivotal role in hiring top talent, global recruiting strategy, implementing diversity initiatives, and facilitating trainings.

 

As a champion for diversity and inclusion, Dane's journey aligns seamlessly with the IPCollective mission and core values, where he serves as President and is one of the company’s co-founders. Dane's commitment to fostering collaborative thought leadership and expertise perfectly resonates with IPCollective's vision for inclusivity, collaborative excellence, empowerment, and impactful innovation.

 

Dane's career began as a recruiter, evolving into a dynamic leader with a track record of contributing to global transformations in both recruiting as well as diversity and inclusion. His insights on diversity and inclusion have been widely shared at esteemed panels and conferences, including events hosted by Gartner, SHRM, Disability:In, AfroTech, and General Assembly.

 

A proud graduate from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Dane maintains an active relationship with his alma mater. Currently serving as an executive board member on an alumni board, Dane regularly engaging with the campus community giving lectures, participating on panels, and mentoring. In 2022 he was recognized on the university's prestigious 40 under 40 list showcasing his ongoing commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in higher education.
